Patches without trainers, intros, cracktros, etc. that only deal with removing protection and nothing else.

PlayStation games have two main types of protections (+varieties):
LibCrypt - checks for subchannel data (16-bit key that decrypts sections of code)
ModChip - checks for console modification (a modchip soldered into the console)

If the test fails, the game becomes unplayable (freezes, glitches, or causes some other nuisance)

These patches do not pack the contents of the executable file, which makes it possible to modify it further, somehow:
- use of different scanners changing the color system PAL/NTSC
- game translation
- etc.

Of course there are ways that do not require you to patch games
For example write games with LibCrypt protection using CloneCD (full ccd/img/sub image)
Or modifying the console with a stealth modchip, in the case of games with modchip checks.

Just a note to purists that when you burn an image to a CD-R you never get an exact copy, otherwise modchips weren't needed.

Other users can simply patch and burn the game to CD-R disc

Attention

At the moment almost all games with LibCrypt protection are added, only multidisc games are left (Galerians, Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy 9), but since I'm not familiar with them, then there are difficulties with the testing. If anyone is willing to help walkthrough/test these games with my patch, PM me and I'll make a patch to test.
