The 10th installment of Underground introduced a new host for the mag, a CG woman by the name of Maggie. Maggie would introduce subscribers to the new issue with a rundown of what they were about to find while bickering back and forth with Gary Barth (off-screen).

Disc 1

Debriefing - Kaz Hirai, Phil Harrison, and Ken Kutaragi discuss the potential of "Next Generation PlayStation" including first confirmation of backwards compatibility.
Behind the Scenes

Um Jammer Lammy - Creators of the game including Masaya Matsuura, Gabin Ito, and Tomohiro Hasekura joke about Lammy as if she were a real guitarist and promote the full feature that will be in the next issue.
Star Ocean: Second Story - Yoshinori Yamagishi, Takehiro Ando, and Tadayasu Nishida from Enix describes the game's features including how you can choose who stays on your team and who gets left behind, as well as the games 80 endings.

All regular Underground Issues up until the first PS2 version came in 2-CD sets. One disc contained the Playable Demos, while the other contained the downloads, interviews, features, and more.

The "interactive" process of creating a game series, dubbed Project Wormhole: How to Make a Game, was chronicled over 6 issues of the Underground, starting in Issue 2.2.

The Director Clipboard shown during the Behind the Scenes section flashes 4 sets of numbers, with one set having a red digit. That red digit number is EN05, which is a tribute to the original URNOTE ("You Are Not Ready"). EN05 backwards is "Sony [is] Ready".
