Troubleshooting :
We took maximum precautions during the assembly of this compilation and spent a whole week testing it with different hardware.
However, these hacks may or may not work with your equipment. Below is a list of recommendations for increasing success rate :
- Never launch this disc with ESR, Open PS2 Loader, PS2ESDL or HDLoader.
- Disable your modchip after booting the disc.
- Use an official Network Adaptor (chinese clones may fail at HDDOSD/PSBBN boot).
- Use a 28-Bit LBA HDD (127 GB MAX capacity).
- Set HDD jumpers in cable select position, or master if power-cycle fails.
- If an installer fails to install the HDDOSD or the PSBBN, format your HDD with uLaunchELF.
- For DVD Player installation, put an official PS2 Memory Card in Slot 1 (some clones can't be authentified by the installer).
- Never upgrade the PlayStation BB Navigator or you can say goodbye to ATAD and territorial hacks.
- PSBBN 0.20 cannot be updated nor upgraded.
- PSBBN 0.30 requires a manual hack to allow updates without the forced upgrade (see "More..." / "Disable PSBBN 0.30 Upgrade").
- In last resort, if you can't install the PSBBN or the HDDOSD due to a Red Screen of Death, see PS2 HDD Dumps for an alternative installation method.
