Kikou Heidan J-Phoenix+ (EJ7-00003) (NTSC-J)
Kikou Heidan J-Phoenix+ is a Mech action game by Takara. Released in December 2002, only in Japan.
J-Phoenix Plus is an enhanced version of the original J-Phoenix for PlayStation 2. This version features additional characters and gear parts, as well as an extra EX-Mode that allows you to control your wingmen and fight through even more missions. There's also a new play mode called Hundred Slashes, a survival mode which allows you to battle with 100 opponents continuously, the money you earned from this mode can be used in the Story Mode. The mech design is by Kunio Okawara, the Lead Mechanical Designer for most Gundam series. The game is fully in Japanese. Gameplay is very similar to the Armored Core series.

A short anime DVD was bundled with the game on its initial release, featuring Original video animation Kikou Heidan J-Phoenix PF Lips Shoutai vol.1.
Story:
The time is the future. Earth's population has been transplanted to Planet J, which has been embroiled in a long-standing war between the imperial Arthalea government and the militaristic Varim regime. Both sides are currently at a stalemate with soldiers and civilians alike at the breaking point. In a last-ditch attempt at victory, General Glenn of the Arthalea government orders his men to develop the all-purpose, bipedal Panzer Frame (PF).
Four beautiful girls, Lisa, Izumi, Pris and Selina, were once saved by ace pilot General Glenn. The rebel girls organized a platoon called LIPS that had one purpose: to serve Glenn!
