But you just said that your Nvidia GPU is dead, right? So that's out of the question. Follow the video guides and do what they say and you'll have the best
possible setup with your GPU (Intel HD). If that's not enough then you'll still have to settle with it. At least, until you get yourself a better GPU.
As for Pete's OpenGL, no you can't use that on PCSX2, unfortunately.
Shamalama told you how to switch language:
1 set the european bios as the default bios
2 boot up bios only, set language in bios/ps2 options
3 when loading an iso choose "full boot"
