I'm still coding "MBRew Loader" for MS-DOS. I have no intentions to give you false hope, but here is a list of expected features :
- Creation of MBR KELFs from compressed PS2 ELFs (implemented);
- Creation of raw __mbr partitions [128 MB HDD images] from compressed PS2 ELFs (implemented);
- Creation of tiny HDDOSD installations with unofficial HDD support [HDD images] (Not yet implemented, in progress);
- Creation of tiny HDDOSD installations with LBA48 support [HDD images] (Not yet implemented).
"MBRew Loader" uses l_oliveira's "Free HD Boot" proof-of-concept as an ELF container for making the said ELF run from the __mbr. It will be totally free of Sony's copyrighted code and will take the original INSTALL.PAK file as source to install the HDDOSD.

wow great project!!! But will be able to add featurss:
-compresiing/uncompressing ELF and
-making KELFs from ELFs (and vise versa)?
