Nice. I finally got my Ubuntu setup to work properly. I have access to PSBBN partitions with read+write permissions
. My method seems to be correct.
- I make a backup of the PS2HDD TOC with WinHIIP
- I write a PC friendly partition table with TestDisk
- I put the HDD to my Ubuntu setup, log as "root", mount PSBBN partitions, copy translated files
- I put the HDD back to my other PC to restore the TOC with WinHIIP.
At the time I write this message, I didn't test the translated PSBBN in my PS2, because I'm facing some problem with another computer. But I'll give more info very soon.
