The Hunter или Battle Hunter - игра сочетающая в себе несколько жанров, а именно РПГ, настольную и логическую игру.
В начале игры Вы выбрав персонажа, подкрасив, дав имя и распределив очки отправляетесь к небритому ростовщику и получаете задание, после чего отправляетесь на поиске определённой вещи (артефакта).
Действие разворачивается в изометрической проекции, персонажи - спрайты, ходы определяются бросанием кубиков, а бой переключается на сражающихся где Вы обмениваетесь ударами, как с монстрами, так и с противниками.

In the near future, mankind survives a third "Great War," but just barely. The remaining scientists who are dedicated to bringing humanity back from the brink of extinction need vital information and special items that are stored i the ruins of former high-tech cities. Too dangerous for normal troops, these missions require the use of highly trained mercenaries codenamed: "Hunters." Those combat veterans face the terrors of a mutated underworld while competing with other Hunters for the chance to bring back the prized relics of the past!
