Космические пришельцы много лет назад напали на Землю и похитили мумию некогда могущественного фараона Рамзеса. Но и этого им показалось мало и они разбросали по долине Karnak шесть магических предметов обладающих большой мощью. И теперь вам предстоит разобраться в этом деле, найти предметы и выследить этих мерзопакостных тварей. Ну а Рамзес, так пусть покоится в мире.

В течение всей игры вам предстоит в борьбе со сверхъестественными силами приобретать новое оружие (его коллекция просто великолепна) и специальные способности. В отличие от знаменитой игры Doom, здесь можно и следует вновь возвращаться на уже пройденные уровни, чтобы ещё раз их исследовать. Ну и, конечно вести отчаянную стрельбу по монстрам, которых в игре достаточно.

You were just minding your business, hanging out in Ramses' Tomb in the Egyptian city of Karnak, when these vicious aliens came in and sealed the thing off from the outside world. Granted, you're a specialist in this sort of thing, but that doesn't make any less frightening. An excellent explorer/puzzle game, Exhumed sets you wandering through the dark catacombs of the tomb and pits you against hordes of zombies, mummies, piranhas, and (of course) space aliens. You'll have to pick up weaponry and clues along the way, and with eight different weapons in all, you might have half a chance. Even are you are able to kill off all of your foes, it doesn't mean you'll be able to find all of the artifacts and keys to unravel the mystery of the game, or even get to the next room. There aren't many hints in this one, so you'll have to pack some extra brains under that safari hat if you hope to get anywhere. The top-notch premise combines with solid graphics and animations to make Exhumed a worthy journey into the Pyramids.
