I could run FIFA 98 Road to World Cup on Windows 8.1 before, when downloaded from another site, now I get problem about 32-bit compatiblity with FIFA 98 Road to World Cup and same with NBA Live 98.

Do I bindingly need VirtualBox??

I have not tried to run the game on Win 8.1. It is a Glide game.

It will launch the game if you set 16-bit compatiblity to FIFARTWC.exe and run this, but I get the problem if I try to install it (clicking AUTORUN.EXE) maybe I have to set the right .exe file (related to autorun) in 16-bit to complete installation

Same error for NBA Live 98 (PC)

Can nGlide and gdVoodoo help?
